Athletics Interschool

For Athletics Interschool I qualified for discus and the yr7's discus was at 1.15 pm and it was boring waiting at first until it was 1.15 and yr7's from other schools were there even my friends. I was third in line and excited and nervous but when it was my turn I threw it up far but when it was the other yr7's turn it didn't go well for me. The other yr7's threw it farther than I imagined. When it was done I check the score and I ended up being 6th place and it wasn't that bad.

Living a life as a shoe

Another day of going to school with Max. I feel so sore being worn everyday. When I was first out of the box I was excited but now I’ve ended up being old and broken. The toilet smells, I get gum on my soul and dirt all over me. I can’t take it anymore!! Finally the bell rings and I'm heading home. I see freedom as we proceeded to go home a big fluffy thing comes up to us and licks me. Phew! As soon as I get home after a stressful day, my arms are untied and I smell like meat. I always think to myself I really want him to get a new pair of shoes.

This week for writing we learned about what personaficatio is and the five senses. After we learned that we needed to find a partner to do this activity. The challange was that we could1n't communicate to each other.

Reading Presentation

Today me and my partner Karlos made a summary about what happened in the stone age. When we finished our summary about what happened in the stone age, we also made a kahoot about what and who was in the stone age. We also watched a video to help us understand what was in the stone age back then. The part that I enjoyed was making and sharing the kahoot with my class.

Trasformation

Today we learned all the diiferent skills in transformation and it was fun doing it. There was enlarge, mirror, rotaion and translation. They are all differnt types of transformation and they were very fun to learn.

Foodprint

Yesterday, a friend of one of the teachers cameto our school and told us about an app called foodprint. Foodprint is a company that helps people try not to waste food because if we do waste food it going to get hotter and hotter which turns into climate change

Film Festival

Today, our school is going to see the film festival and i'm really excited to see our movie that we made. This movie had a ot of effort put into it and a lot of confidance. At first when I was chosen to be part of the movie I was terrified but with a lot of practice I got used to taking part.

Kiwi Sport - Tennis

Today for kiwi sport we had our second lesson for kiwi sport our first lesson was about how to play and what tennis is. Our lesson today we learned how to volley and try not to make the ball bounce. We also learned the rules about how to do a volley. For most of the lesson I was the exaple on how to do these skills and it was fun doing it first try. When I versed my teacher in a volley we hit the ball 14 times without dropping it. When we finished tennis we needed to find a photo of ourselves and compare it to a pro tennis player

Guy Fawks

Today Nevaeh, Karlos, Jonathan and I have created a DLO on who guy fawkes was, why he is important and why we celebrate guy fawkes. Guy fawkes was a very brave man since he tried to blow up the king.

Firework safety

Fireworks are very dangerous even for kids because they might not know what a firework is and they might get hurt. Jonathan, Nevaeh and I have created this google slide to teach younger kids what to do when they encounter a firework

Maths

L.I To understand profit equals income minus expenditure.

Today we played a math game that involved making and lossing money. This game was a very fun game to play since it involved money and how much do we have. The purpose of the game was to try and make a profit.Me and my partner were too nice and had many discounts and my total of the game was -81.20 and it was a big loss but I realized that I had fun in the end.
