Motat Trip

We had a trip to Motat to learn more on S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engernering, Art, Mathmatics.) We did lots of fun things there like Making a car out of carboard, Trying to make a torch work and having a expatition around motat it was fun.

Place Value Partitioning

 

This DLO show how I used the stratigy of place value partitioning to solve addition problems. During our maths lessons we practiced using this strategy with number and word question. When I was answering the word questions I had to look for the maths so I knew what numbers to work with. My screencastify shows the strategy I used. The more I used this strategy the more the easier it got.
