Step it up Art Colouring Book
Art has different kinds of elements such as Line, Shape, Form, Colour, Value and Texture. The lines were already drawn while processing the image and the lines created shapes and pictures in my head. It formed many different things and it showed me what to colour. Next after we coloured we saw the value (brightness) and started to change it up a little. Like changing the colours from the dark and dull to the colourful and bright, last we added texture to the image. The colourful and bright colours reminds me i'm at a party.
Last day at tech
Today at Tamaki college was our last day of tech. Throught the past weeks The yr 8's were doing food tech and were making cool food. The yr 8's made a final meal for their last day. We make teriyaki chicken sushi with a little bit of sweet chilli sauce. We needed some rice, chicken and some seaweed wrapping. We mixed the teriyaki chicken with sweet chilli sauce and mayo. we soonly started to put the rice into the seaweed and then put the chicken on top. When we tasted the sushi it was delicious for the last day at tech

Art Colouring Book
Yesterday we tried one of this year’s Kick Start Summer Learning Journey activities. The purpose of this task was to experiment with colours by mixing colours from the original palette with pop colours. This allowd us to recolours famous painting or images of landmarks around the world. The picture I used to colour is called "The Watermelons by Diego Rivera." I think my art work is better because its way more imaginative and I really like pumpkins.

Bekah came over and showed LS2 a little game called Pukana. We played and it was quite easy to play because you just need to point your arms to the person on your right or left and say pukana.

Plastic Pollution
Why is it important to make wise choices?
When was the last time you threw rubbish into the sea? Plastic in the ocean is most certainly a problem and we need it to stop. All our precious animals are being killed by Plastic wraps, bottles and thowing them into the sea.
Our behavior has ended up killing lots of little sea creatures therefore we must stop otherwise we won’t have any marine life left like Turtles and Fishes.
It’s not just our marine life, it’s our birds too. A seagull ate plastic and died on a beach. There are bins everywhere but people dont bother to use them. As a result of people throwing rubbish into the sea we lose all of our marine life creatures and our birds.
There are different types of sea creatures who are dying from our actions and we need to stop because if we don’t have fish in the sea what will go with the chips, Plastic and Chips? If our actions caused this then we can stop it too.
Our turtles have been stuck in Beer can holders and it even deformed their shell and have eaten plastic bottles, bags and is causing these cute little creatures in the sea to die full of plastic in their stomach.
They have been here for many years and were trying to kill them with our pollution. They're living things so are we we should be helping them not killing them. This is not ok we need to start putting rubbish in the bin and put a stop to the plastic pollution for good
Today we wrote about why is it important to make wise choises and pick something going on world wide. I wrote about Plastic Pollution and how its affecting turtles and seagulls on the beach.

Lightning never strikes twice, does it?
The four friends built a new windmill. But when they were working on the farm a huge storm came up and took out part of the farm. The storm was lurking around the corner so they used their new windmill as shelter. The storm came closer and closer until the storm came up and frightened them with a thunder that went BOOM!
The four friends were scared and afraid of the storm because they were thinking of getting hit but the thunder. They were huddled together in fear but when they saw the second thunderbolt they noticed they were huddling near a windmill. They hid inside and waited until they found pans.
They were banging and bashing them up.they were bangin until morning. The storm went past the windmill. It was a miracle it went past them, but there was a fire on the windmill. The friends couldn’t do anything to stop the fire. Little did they know they had a fire extinguisher. But it was too late. The fire has burned the windmill down. After the windmill burned down they rebuilt the windmill.

Over the bay he’s been looking at these mountains for days. A young fellow named Joe had all his equipment for the long journey. “This mountain is a be~uty.” Joe said to himself. As he walked up to it and started his journey. A day goes by and I'm still climbing. He finds a spot to camp and rest. “Morning is here and time to go.” Joe says filled with determination.
Joe climbs and climbs untill he gets to the next spot to rest. He climbs and climbs and he’ll never stop because it’s his dream to climb to the top. As he reaches his next checkpoint he takes a long nap. As he woke up he says to himself “I have a long journey of me.” He climbs further and further and he still rock climbs and nothing is going to stop his determination.
Rock climbing, trying to get to the highest point and never giving up Joe climbs and continues. Joe says without any breath left “The sun is rising and my legs are tensing, I can see the bright colours blend in gradient. The sweat covers my eyes” and as Joe wiped the sweat off my face he felt like he could see the world. “I’ve been training for months and nearly at the top. I’ve climbed a treacherous path nearly falling, but I never gave up.” As he reaches the top takes a long rest.
Today we had another session of 5 - 7 - 10 with some planning and drafting and that makes it 10 - 5 - 7 - 10 - 10. We wrote about a rock climbing story. We visulised the picture and the wrote a narritive on what we saw

NZ Timeline
For the past week my group The Kiwi group have been working on an NZ Timeline from way back to the 1840 - 2020. It was fun finding the information for the timeline's. It went from the treaty of waitangi to the on going coronavirus (Make sure to wash and sanitize you hands!) The our teacher (Mrs Anderson) helped us with the evaluation. We picked 3 most important things we researched about (Treaty of Waitangi, Coronavirus and women suffrage) and helped us use this information to form our opinion. One thing i've learned was to look at all the information before make an opinion

Cityscape
In the center of my cityscape is Temple Mount. The shiny round top reflects the sunlight everywhere in Jerusalem. To the right of Temple Mount is the Chistian Church (a very popular place in Jerusalem) and it is a special place to Jerusalem. In the background you can see the construction. Temple Mount is a religious site where Jews, Muslims and Christians come together.
Did you know that in Jerusalem they beleive Adam (Adam and Eve) was born, and it’s the same place where Adam built the altar. There are two reasons behind the Telmple Mount, One of them is for the people to worship the place and the second reason is to cover the Ark of the Covenant.
