Presenting In school assembly
Last weeks assembly I was one of the student presenter's with Angela. I was quite nervous for a bit but I also felt very confident at the same time. Although, I was very scared that I might ruin our assembly. After that I just went up and did it. But at the end of assembly I messed up because I was too nervous. But people around me encouraged me and supported me the whole way. I am very greatful that Angela also helped me when I made a mistake. Over all I really enjoyed presenting last week!

Kiwi Can
For Kiwi Can we had a new catchphrase it went like TALK TO ME, SO YOU CAN SEE, SOMEONE WITH POSITIVITY. We played a game/Activity called chop suey salute. The game has 5 command 1,2,3,4,5 number 1 was 1 punch, Number 2 was 2 punches, Number 3 was 2 punches and 1 kick, number four was Ha du-gun and number 5 was 1 upper cut. It was fun because we had to listen to the instructors on what number we and action we had to do and it was a challenge for us because we got confused with the numbers.

Kiwi Sport

For Kiwi Sport we played golden child but in a different way. We had to get into two teams the running/defending team and the other team that had to hit the basket to stop the the running/defending team. The running team had to chose two defenders to protect the basket so the runner can keep running. When the runners were running they had to touch the po with the ball when they are running. The other team has to hit the basket to they can stop the runners from getting back home. The last person to run is the golden child.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi
This week I created a DLO about Waitangi. I worked with Avalon, Sandra and Jayden. We needed to create three summaries about each part of the story. The story was about the Treaty of Waitangi. Maori Chiefs wanted a treaty with the British because pakeha settlers were taking their land and not following any laws. On 6th February 1840 the treaty between Maori and pakeha was signed at Waitangi. New Zealand. After the Treaty was signed by the Maori the British people encouraged the Maori to sell their land because more and more Pakeha were coming to New Zealand.
