Today My group for inquiry had to choose an orginizim and we choose bats and we had to make a slide show of the MRS GREN for bats.

Maori Matariki

Today in Maori we talked about the Matariki celebration that is going to be on the last Wednesday of school. On that day we are going to have a big celebration with a sausage sizzle. singing and  dancing.  After the talk we had to do a word find and write the Matariki song.  I was the fourteenth person to finish all my work.

Events
  • First... we went to the hall and sat on the stage and mr ogilvie explained what we were doing in the hall.

  • Next.. we had to pick a pieces of equipment and mr ogilvie would tell us a game.

  • Then.. Mr ogilvie  made up a game and we had to use mats to get to the hop when you get to the hop you have to put the ball inside the hop.

The Last..  game we played we had to get into teams I was in one team and we had to have 3  people playing in the game we first had to have one person Jumping in
a bag but he has to help his team make it to the end one person had to crawl under
a chair with a blindfold one person had to hold a spoon and put the egg on top and
try to make it to the end without it falling.
Ending
  • The day was… pretty good cause we had a lot of fun Playing Cooperative games.


Recount draft


First we had to go to the hall and sit down on the stage and had to listen to Mr Ogilvie and then we had 2 hula hoops 1 was for shooting in and the other one was fo standing in.

To start with we had 2 mats and the floor is lava so we had to use the mats to get to the hula hoop and then we had to shoot 1 netball into the hula hoop with the mats getting there.

Next we had to play a game that included 2 blindfolds, 2 egg and spoon and 1 sack for us to hop in it, the sack had to go around the chair, the blindfolds had to go under the chair, and the egg and spoon has to go on the chair and off the sides.

Then when we tried it was super difficult but when it was my turn i had the blindfold witch was very difficult but me and the team still made it it was a little easy but still made it.

Finally when we were done we had so much fun playing all that game and the activity warm up with the hula hoops and stuff.
