Tech

L.I is to use the sensors in a mBbot

For Tech today we focused on coding our mBots and using the sensors to make it go backwards if it senses a object in front of it (like a bat.) When we finished the coding we put it into the mBot but mine was different from the others, I had colours in it. So when the mBot is going on a stroll it's green but when the object is in front of it turns red and it thinks its in danger and Mrs Ferguson (Tech Teacher) thought it was a brilliant idea.

Using Exponents

L.I. to understand Exponents.

This week for maths we made a DLO about an equation about how many heads a hydra has after each day. First we had to figure out the maths rule and that was (the amount of heads) muliplied by 2. Then we kept multipling the amount of heads untill we got to the 3rd and 10th day and our awnsers were: 3rd day = 8 heads & 10th day = 1024 heads.

The question was How many metres would they need to make 26 Ta ‘Ovala? The main information was For 8 Ta ‘Ovala, it takes 12 metres of material. This Maths challenge was fun to complete
