Summer Learning Journey Week 1 Activity 1 Day 1

Hi my name is Jayden I am an LS1 Student from PBS and likes to have fun and blog and today im going to tell you about New Zealand and how it was created

Aotearoa is our home of New Zealand. There are there are three different lands in our country The South Island, North Island and Stewart Island. Our home New Zealand is where Maui the Demigod had fished a giant fish called a stingray with his magical  and became our south island of New Zealand/Aotearoa. Aotearoa is a Maori name for New Zealand because Maui the Demigod was Maori.

  1. Kia ora Jayden,

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! We are so glad to see that you are blogging with us this summer. I am a part of the SLJ team who will be reading and commenting on your blog posts this summer.

You did a great job for this first SLJ activity. There are so many interesting facts about New Zealand that most Kiwi's don't even know. Do you know what Aotearoa means?

    Keep up the awesome blogging!

    Talk soon,

    Sophie

  2. Pvmra Jayden,
I really liked how you introduced yourself. But that is not needed because you have an about me. I think your improvement is just lookout for the little mistakes on your blog like full stops. I also knew that Maui fished up one of the islands of New Zealand. Why are those three your favourite facts about New Zealand?

    Otherwise great job!
