  1. Talofa lava Jayden,

My name is Mani and I am going to be joining you on the Summer Learning Journey as a blog commenter. I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?

This year I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs, especially because I had the pleasure of visiting your school over the past few weeks and meeting you and the rest of the class! Say hello to Mrs Anderson and the class for me!! I am really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends. I also love to exercise and write songs in my spare time. What are you looking forward to doing this summer? If the weather carries on like this, you might be lucky to jam some Fortnite and Apex legends this week.

Well done on completing your first activity for the Summer learning journey. I really like how you have not only included food items but you have also provided the reasons as to why you have picked them. Also I think it is super cool that you did your own drawings, wish I was as talented as you!

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts Jayden, happy posting! :)

    Thank you,
    Mani

  2. Kia Ora Jayden! I love the creativity in your presentation, and the way you've chosen to share your 10 items with us. I've noticed you have chosen things that are very simple to make and easy to store. This is great thinking especially for a voyage or trip like this. But if you weren't able to take only one of your, what would it be? Probably the most unnecessary one...great work!
